Life Is...

... putting the puck in the net.
... about what you love, not what loves you.
... something for the taking.
... a series of events that don't end until death.
... fun.
... whatever you want it to be.
... as much as you are willing to make it.
... for living.
... just a game.
... the people you know.
... love.
... art.
... sport.
... all of your bodily systems functioning properly.
... beautiful.

No Dave, you're wrong.

Life is but a walking shadow, a poor player who
struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then
is heard no more. It is a tale told by an idiot,
full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. - WS

That quote has got to be the most unoriginal quote ever. Anyway, I've temporarily stopped writing in my blog not just because I've decided to take on the world, but also because I want to publish what I write--offline. I've been posting crap for the past few months because whenever I write something worth posting, I think that it's worth publishing on paper and so end up not posting it at all. I guess I've gotten tired of deciding whether my writing was number 1 or 2 plastic every time I was ready to trash it. I guess I'm slightly old-school; I like paper.

Life is the creation of meaning and hope in the midst of an uncertain, unconnected, insignificant series of events.
Life is holding on.
Life is every relationship you forge.
Life exists only in the context of it's termination.
Life rocks my socks.
